Getting married in Scotland can be as small or large as you want. I have met a number of couples now who are opting for small Glasgow elopement package weddings. The Registry Office at Montrose Street in Glasgow is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. Lots of couples enjoy the romance of a simple elopement ceremony. It’s a step away from the usual seating plans, RSVPs, or complex dietary stresses that come with big weddings. It’s one of the many reasons to have a small wedding in Scotland. As a Glasgow elopement photographer, I love the creativity of these simple and intimate ceremonies.
Elopement Photography in Glasgow
As a Glasgow elopement photographer, I really enjoy photographing small wedding ceremonies as well as the bigger celebrations. This gives me the chance to enjoy different levels of creativity with my work, and different ways of interacting.
Intimate Wedding in Glasgow
Heather and David married in 2019, and opted for a small intimate Glasgow wedding ceremony at Montrose Street Registry Office. They had with them their baby daughter, and their witnesses were two of their close friends and their son. The ceremony took around 20 minutes of legalities and vows. Following on from this, we headed to City Chambers for some photographs among the Classic Victorian arches and pillars which sit neatly between Cochrane and George Street.
As this was one of my smaller and shorter Glasgow elopement packages, it was lovely to see them enjoy their very intimate wedding. I loved producing photographs for them to remember their day, and to share it in the future with their young daughter as she grows up. The photos will leave a story for her to learn all about her parent’s wedding and their love for one another and for her.
