A Vibrant Autumnal Wedding at Pollokshields Burgh Hall, Glasgow

I love photographing a good Pollokshields Burgh Hall wedding. It is a fantastic wedding venue in Glasgow for a fun knees up shindig. This wonderful venue offers a blank canvas for any couple planning their wedding day there. Maxwell Hall is a great room for a wedding ceremony, meal, and dancing. It’s lovely and light making it perfect for photographs, and ideal for this Glasgow wedding photographer. You can dress it as much or as little as you like, and make it truly your own for the day. After the wedding, you can head down stairs to the Loggia room, which opens onto a patio so if the weather is good, you and your guests can head outside into the sunshine. It’s also perfect for going out into Maxwell Park for your wedding photographs.

Autumnal Wedding Vibes

Dan and Jen booked Pollokshields Burgh Hall for their autumnal wedding. It was a gorgeous time of year for a wedding in Glasgow. I was really excited to be a part of their special day.

Jen got ready at a family home, and it was a fantastic space for getting dressed with her entourage of bridesmaids and family. Dan got ready in a flat in Glasgow. My amazing second photographer was there to take photos of the groom prep. Then it was off to Pollokshields Burgh Hall for their wedding.

Golden Light for Wedding Photos

The light in Maxwell Hall came through the beautiful stainglass windows and it was golden during their ceremony. This worked well with Jen’s gorgeous choice of flowers and their colour scheme.

We of course made the most of Maxwell Park, and headed along to the train station. This station has a gorgeous yellow wooden building and this looked fantastic in their photos. It’s a great location to incorporate for a fun Glasgow wedding vibe!

This was a pretty relaxed and fun wedding at Pollokshields Burgh Hall. I loved that Jen changed for the evening into a jumpsuit, which was pretty cool!
