LITE BRYLLUP
SMALL WEDDINGS
Scottish photographer for small weddings
mini celebrations with a handful of friends, or eloping to the mountains, my mini wedding package is just for you.
Big on Love
Love is like a big fat squishy pillow… it comes in all shapes and sizes, a bit like photography. Whilst you might not be having a lavish celebration in a castle, there’s no reason you can’t have great photography to remember those intimate vows at your wee wedding in Scotland. Whether you’re getting married in front of your best friends in the City Chambers, or saying I do at a micro wedding in a pub, I’ll be your personal storyteller gathering the moments so you can look back on that day for years to come.
Wee Scottish Elopements
Back in the day, most people ran off to get married over the anvil. Now you can get married in the mountains, on a beach, or in your favourite woodland. Elopements are such a personal experience… just you two, me and your celebrant, rejoicing in the fact that you’ve chosen to get married without all the pomp, circumstance, place settings, table plans, big bands and a troupe of bridesmaids. I love every single elopement I do… I consider it an honour to be part of something incredibly personal and special. And the bonus is, I get to photograph it so that you can show off to your family and friends afterwards.
LOPPA
The perfect wee wedding photography package
Loppa is named after a pretty wee island where my family used to live in Norway. It’s my small wedding photography package which is perfect for Scottish micro weddings, elopements and for those couples who wanna do it their own way at the city chambers. No fuss, just ceremony, handful of family photos, a small portrait session and maybe a beer after!

The Ceremony
From sincerely written vows, to doggie ring bearers, tiny flower girls to wind swept hills… wherever your wedding ceremony is taking place, I’ll be there to capture it all in my signature relaxed documentary style. The laughs, the happy tears, the wind and the rain…if the sun makes an appearance, happy days!
Confetti & Photos
Once you’ve said ‘I do’, there’s time for a handful of family photos, some confetti, hugs all round and smiles aplenty. Then I whisk you away for a small portrait photoshoot to capture all that sparkling glow you’ve got from being ‘just married’! No fanning out your dress, my shots are down to earth, and as natural as they come.
And Finally
Whilst you’re busy bathing in your newlywed glow, I’ll be busy editing your images. Your online gallery will be ready within six weeks so you can share all your images with your friends and family whilst having complete control over what they see. It also has print purchase options so you can order lovely prints, design an album or order thank you cards.

What's your photography style?
My approach is natural and documentary. I love capturing things as they unfold and using your surroundings creatively to make beautiful pictures. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. I consider it a win when a guest asks how I know the couple, because it means I’ve successfully blended in. That’s exactly where I want to be.
Do you do posing?
I try and keep posing to a minimum. I will give you some direction, to help with the composition but I want to make your relationship dynamic come right out of the picture when you look at it. I love encouraging movement when I’m photographing you as it creates much more authentic and natural images of you.
Where do you travel to?
I travel across Scotland, and travel is included in my pricing. For weddings that are further away (3 hours from Lenzie), I will need overnight accommodation to make sure that I’m fresh on the day.
Can you be a witness for our elopement?
Yes, I can. I have been a witness before at elopements. If you need a second witness, let me know and I can ask someone to join me.
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?
Yes. I am an LGBTQ+ ally, and if you love my work and want to book me, then I would love to work with you.
Can I get married in Scotland if I'm from another country?
Yes! I have photographed many destination weddings and elopements in Scotland and would love to photograph yours too. I’d recommend checking the National Records of Scotland website for the legal requirements for overseas couples.
Can you recommend a suitable celebrant or wedding supplier for us to use?
How many guests count as a small wedding?
There’s no set number, a small wedding is really about intention rather than headcount. I’ve photographed elopements with just two people getting married, and intimate celebrations with around 25-30 guests.
How do we book you?
To secure me for your date, drop me a line. After we’ve chatted about your wedding, I’ll send over your personal online portal where you’ll find your contract, and can pay your retainer by credit card or bank transfer.
Can we keep our photos private from social media?
Absolutely. I always ask at the time of booking about sharing your photos online, as I am fully compliant with UK data protection laws. Not everyone wants their photos shared online and I am very respectful of this.
